Scott Barber was born and raised outside of New York City but became a Californian in High School. He went on to attend the University of California, Davis and developed a love of science and physiology which propelled him to Dental school at Creighton University in Omaha, NE.

Dr Barber continued on to complete a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery completing an Internship year at UCLA and four more years at the University of Missouri at Kansas City in 2008.

For over ten years Dr Barber has experienced private practice, owning and operating two locations in San Diego. In addition he’s been an attending Surgeon and Associate clinical Professor at the Residency in Kansas City. He holds hospital appointments at Lawrence Memorial, Truman Medical Center and Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.

He is a Board certified Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon with years of experience in private practice  and clinical education.  Dr Barber has a particular interest in Oral Pathology and dento-alveolar surgery and a proficiency in dental implant surgery, bone grafting and preprosthetic surgery.

Dr. Scott Barber also takes great pride in his other interests including his coral reef aquariums, his aptitude as an aspiring  pastry chef, marathon runner and triathlete. Of course, most of all he loves being a father and husband and always makes time for his two young kids to play a little MineCraft.
